KMD is the culmination of 25 years recording, engineering and studio production experience, coupled with over 30 years of musical performance and management.
From a young age I have played in and managed bands, and worked in professional studios in and around central London. I left the studio environment to concentrate on performing and writing my own material.
Over the years I have traveled extensively, collecting inspiration for my ongoing projects, with each new place I spend time providing a wealth of more and different music.
In 1997 I set up my first 24 track digital recording studio running a stack of 3 ADATs. 5 years later I began PC based recording, and using Steinberg Cubase has opened up a new world of possibilities. This has led me to set up mobile recording facilities and studios based in both the UK and Cyprus.
When not behind the desk, I sing, play acoustic and electric guitar, acoustic and electric bass, varied hand percussion, and I doodle with both keyboards and drums. My programming and sampling skills are ever growing.
