- Zack "Pipe Dreams"
- These original recordings were made on four track cassette between 1987 and 1995, and transferred to CD at various stages. A classic example of multiple track bouncing leading to severe degradation in audio quality. They were lifeless and lacking high frequencies, with low frequency interference present on all tracks. It should be made clear that this example, and indeed all examples given here, are extreme clean up operations, and therefore the end results reflect this!

- Miles Brazier "The Four Track Years"
- KMD produced this compilation of songs by Miles Brazier, the culmination of ten years writing and recording on various equipment. Material was supplied to KMD on CD, previously transferred from cassette. Most of the tracks suffering wow and flutter from four track cassette machines. There were a mix of tracks lacking mid to high frequencies, and some tracks requiring low frequency boost. Each track had to be individually re-mastered as with this example and many others sometimes there is no such thing as an overall formula.
